This special issue of Good Little Garbage Girl comes to you after almost a year-long hiatus (truth is that I got a job, but I still think about trash for close-to the entirety of the day).

The occasion? Earthlings have officially left garbage on mars.

Wow, what can’t the human race accomplish!?

It’s interesting to me how self-congratulatory we can be about the depth of our modern discoveries and also how careless we can be with where we leave our string.

Is anyone missing some string, btw?

I wish we would stop exploring space and start dealing with the string on our own planet.

Anyway, call this string discovery one small step for man, and one giant leap to the assumption that we’re going to start polluting other planets as soon as we’re able.
